Iulia-Ioana Rădoi (ESR4, Università degli Studi di Trieste, Italy), Chiara Danielli (ESR11, ViaZym, The Netherlands) and Milica Milić (ESR14, Aarhus University, Denmark) participated in the 6th International Conference on Biocatalysis in Non-Conventional Media (BNCM 2021) which was held online from 6th to 8th of May 2021.  Here they presented three posters: “Advanced Morphological Characterization of His-tagged Immobilized Enzymes by Means of Infrared Microscopy”, “Biomass-Derived Carriers for Enzyme Immobilization” and “Effect of Organic Solvents on Galactose Oxidase Activity upon Exposure in Biphasic Systems“, respectively. Every three years, BNCM brings plenary lectures, oral talks and poster presentations from both academia and industry on topics ranging from biotransformations in organic solvents, ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, water- and solvent-free systems, as well as multi-phase systems and flow biocatalysis.
