Nanomateriales y Polímeros S.L. (NanoMyP®) is a spin-off company of the University of Granada specializing in the design and synthesis of polymeric and hybrid nano and microparticles, polymers and copolymers, and smart materials with physicochemical properties tailored to the customer’s needs (custom design materials). NanoMyP® also has their own research lines, consisting, mainly, of the design and synthesis of novel smart materials with applicability in bone regeneration.

Researchers associated with INTERfaces
Dr. Antonio L. Medina-Castillo is Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Granada and co-founder of NanoMyP®. He is actually the CSO of this company. He is specialized in smart polymers and materials as well as in electrohydrodynamic techniques. Dr. Angel Valero-Navarro received the Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Granada in 2011. In the same year he co-founded NanoMyP®, occupying the position of COO. He is expert in nanomaterials for optical applications. ESR1 and ESR2 will be supervised by Dr. A. L. Medina-Castillo during the 18 months of secondments.

Key Research Facilities, Infrastructure and Equipment
NanoMyP® has a fully equipped lab for synthesis, characterization and treatment of polymeric materials. It is equipped with optical laser microscopy, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectrometers, DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering), GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) with double detection and instrumentation for EHD (electrospinning and coelectrospinning) processing.
