The European Researchers Night is an event organized every year to provide researchers the opportunity to highlight the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives, and to stimulate interest in research careers – especially among young people. This year the European Researchers’ Night took place online on 24th September 2021. Kamela Myrtollari (ESR9) contributed with an interactive PhD talk where she talked about her educational background, career perspectives and her participation in the project INTERfaces, funded by the European Union´s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions grant agreement.

In the framework of the “Life is Science” EU Researchers Night 11 PhD Students from 5 EU Projects met in a joint PhD talk event to get to know each other and talk about career development with experts from the academia (Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology – acib GmbH) and Kamela’s industrial supervisor Andreas Taden (Henkel).
