Stability Increase of Phenolic Acid Decarboxylase by a Combination of Protein and Solvent Engineering Unlocks Applications at Elevated Temperatures

Congratulations to Kamela Myrtollari (ESR 9) who just published as first author a paper titled: “Stability Increase of Phenolic Acid Decarboxylase by a Combination of Protein and Solvent Engineering Unlocks Applications at Elevated Temperatures” in the Journal of Agricultural and food chemistry (ACS Publications) among others with her supervisors Andreas Taden (Henkel) and Robert Kourist (TUG).

Here she presents their approach for enhancing the industrial application of the decarboxylation process.
